Baby Shoes

I know, I know…two blog posts in as many days! Well, I did say the blogging needed to catch up with the crafting!

When I first found out I was pregnant one of the first things I made was a pair of baby shoes. And this before we knew whether the baby was a boy or a girl so don’t go reading anything into colours or patterns you people at your guessing games!! Followers on Instagram and Facebook may well have had a sneak peek at these already

Anyway, for these shoes I used the pattern from Issue 5 of Love Sewing magazine and small pieces of fabric I had left from other projects. The pattern was easy to follow and the shoes were quick to make. I like the finish on the inside with no raw edges to be seen unlike the previous pair I made and described here. Though I wonder if the previous pair might stay on more easily since they have elastic on them. Part of me wonders whether these ones might look pretty but not be very practical! But with baby due within the next few weeks I’ll soon be able to road test them!

But pretty they are and there’s not too much more to say!
